New Ship igloo and sports catalog!

Hi Duckwit here,

Today the new igloo that is based on rockhopper’s ship came out. This is what it looks like,

Also as you can see they brought back the gym igloo.

I think that the Rockhopper ship igloo is really cool.

Now lets look at the sports catalog,

The only new thing clothes-wise is the track suits. This is the furniture they brought out,

And they have the orange football helmet as a secret…

Honestly I don’t think this sports catalog is very interesting.

I checked the what’s new blog. But so far there aren’t any notices or updates since the sneak peak of the Sports catalog.

Newspaper #148 (Upcoming Penguin Games)

Sorry I haven’t been posting much lately.  But let’s get straight to the news.

Tomorrow which is August the 15th there is going to be a new igloo catalog (Which is the new Migrator based igloo) And there is going to be a new sports catalog featuring sports stuff for the upcoming penguin games on the 22nd!

On the 5th of September there is going to be a new clothing catalog.

That’s just about all the news for today!

I’ll be posting the new stuff tomorrow.

Scavenger hunt, new play, and Rockhopper!

Hi Duckwit here,

Today is packed with new stuff! First lets mention the hunt for the blueprints, once you find all of the little paper boats you get a blueprints background. If you need help finding any of paper boats just comment and I’ll be sure to help you out. (I don’t think you will need any help because the clues are really easy)

Hooray! Rockhopper brought a new free item which is another pair of shoes! In total now there are 3 pairs of non-member shoes.

This time he brought some really cool furniture items, unfortunately my membership just ended.

Now lets look at the new play that came out,

As you can see in the picture there are lots of red balls flying around and this is because when you get on the stage you can throw balls instead of snowballs! Also sadly they only brought back the moose mask but not the Peppy or Tate costume. They brought out some new cheer leading stuff though.

I’m going to talk a bit about Aqua Grabber,

The new level “soda seas” is a lot more challenging than the first one but can be a little too challenging. I managed without much difficulty to recover all the cream soda barrels but getting the Amethyst (Purple Diamond) …well. I didn’t get it I couldn’t get it out of the puff-up-spike-fish cave part. If any of you ever get it out and into the net at the top then please tell me, and how much is it worth? Is it worth all the time you spend?

Loaded Newspaper!

There is a lot of news in todays news, and there is an exciting and challenging new game level in aqua grabber.

Let’s start with the upcoming party kind of thing called Penguin Games! It looks like it will have baseball basketball, soccer, and lots of other things. to me this looks totally awesome.

It was just this morning that I tried the new aqua grabber level which is called the “Soda sea” and in it you have to get all the cream soda barrels to clear the sea and the more barrels you get the more areas you can access in the level.  Lets get back to the news. Rockhopper is coming most likely tomorrow. Now for a bit of old time CP history.

In February  Rockhopper’s  ship sank to the bottom of the sea. And all of us helped rebuild it. Rockhopper had made some Blue prints to make his ship himself, but since the penguins had already made it, a designer penguin  used them to make an igloo which looked like a ship. But the blue prints got lost. That means tomorrow there is going to be a scavenger hunt!

Other news: Team Blue’s sequel is coming to the stage soon.

And then here are the events,

That just about wraps things up for now!

Note: I have already started with the Second chapter of the SNOW WARS but first I would like to hear what you all think of it.

The Glacier Suit and the shoe collection are cool, I think that the croc’s looking shoes are really cool.

The viking helmet is on the elvis looking hair on the penguin wearing the Super nova suit.

There is a new background which is a beach scene.

Newspaper #146

Hi Duckwit here,

There is some exciting news today! First of all the Music Jam 08′ has been extended to August 5th.

There is going to be an Aqua Grabber update on August 5th as well.

Right now the CP band is taking a break again.

Remember the “Team Blues Rally debut” play at the stage? Well there’s going to be a sequel which starts on August 8th.

Also Rockhopper is returning sometime in August, but we are not quite sure when in August.

As shown in the picture above there is going to be a new clothing catalog tomorrow along with a new pin.

There was a sneak peak on Blillybob’s blog but I can’t get anything out of it, it looks strange… You can go check that out for yourself.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The CPIP blog has been closed until further notice.

Awesome new party and new game!

The Music Jam 08′ started today. It’s got some awesome items!

First lets start with the non-member stuff,

The first free item is the Maracas which are at the cove.

Next is the “Music Jam” shirt which is found at the plaza in a box.

Now onto the member stuff,

At the snow forts there is a little stand with some member items,

With the backstage pass you can get to a room behind the stage at the dock…

Also in this (Member Only) room there is a music catalog! Which includes the tuba and violin, so now it will be easier to make a complete band because more people will have these music items.

Here is the music catalog,

Everything has come out before except the Bass Guitar.

Right now the CP band is playing at the ice berg.

There are many many stages in club penguin right now.

There is a piano at the Pool which you can walk on and if you pull the switch to your right then you can see other people play at the same time as you. (When you step on a key it makes a sound)

The other interactive thing is at the Dojo, where there are some giant instruments which start playing when you step on the switch in front of that instument.

Now about the NEW Music mixing DJ 3K game,

I think like most games it won’t come out till around Mid-Day or 10:00 Cp time.

The newspaper came out today with some interesting news!

First of all there is going to be an Aqua Grabber update and an update to another game according to Billybob.

The music party is just looking more and more fun!

In Depth Review of new features: Are they good or bad?

Hi Duckwit here,

In this post we are going to look at all the main updates and the small changes that were made.

Let’s start with the news that the player card has been updated, so now you don’t have to go down those long lists some of you have to get the neck items and medals, all you have to do is click the all category button and then click neck items. This is one of the good features.

The annoying update to all penguin player cards:

It happens on your buddy list, when you click your penguin, or when someone clicks you. It takes sometimes awhile for the clothes to appear (and background) and when they do appear they fade in.

Next lets look at the new Penguin Mail.

We can now all send postcards to our buddies while they are not even on! And we can save postcards or delete them. Also when you check your mail for the first time you will find this letter,

Yes you guessed right, you get a FREE blue messenger bag.

This is one of the other good features.

Also they brought out some new postcards, some people don’t notice the new ones because they don’t say “New” on them. Also them pages look different when you are sending the postcards, they are categorized into things like, igloo, rooms, games, etc.

Now about the server login.

I like the “suggested servers” thing when you first login, I also like the way they put all the servers in one big thing and all in alphabetical order. What I don’t like about this is that it doesn’t really seem club penguinish.

Now let’s look into the igloo background and new editing changes.

I quite agree with the background part,

Circled above is where they moved the Spy phone. To me it’s quite cool looking right there.

Back to the igloo editing,

They changed the igloo editing SAVE button which is circled in red. In the above picture you can see what the furniture viewing looks like, by the way if you open the floor items (rugs and mats) the squares it shows the furniture in are bigger (Because there are less floor items)

Next is one of the smaller less noticed features,

When you click the map and then click the member igloo’s sign this is what it now looks like,

So right now you have to move your mouse over each igloo to see the name, so it takes a lot longer to find the igloo you want to go to. But according to Billybob the team is working on this so that you can have an option to use the list of the map.

On to the next and last few things.

Right now at the Ice hockey rink there is a green puffle playing around with the puck whitch means we can’t play ice hockey right now,

Billybob explained this and said that there is a bug with the ice rink right now so they just put a green puffle there while they fix it, soon it will be back to normal.

Now for the smallest and last features all in one,

First of all they made it so that penguins don’t all appear in one spot in a room they appear slightly to the sides of the main spot like this,

Also now since the letter sign in the top left corner is now your mail box for postcards the “Someone wants to be your buddy” sign is the smiley face that use to mean you have a postcard.

One of the worst things in all this commotion is that now when you press E + T it does NOT make you go faster, which is quite annoying.

Last feature of all is very, very, small.  On your buddy list when you want to find one of your buddies it use to be a little face, well now it is a “?” sign.

That raps up the last features I know about!

NOTE: There have been quite a few editing problems with igloos so I suggest you wait a few days before making major changes to your igloos. Also make sure to report any bugs you find to club penguin.

CP game “Elite Penguin Force” On DS!

I bring you awesome news! There is a new CP game coming out around (I think) October. You can already pre-order it from amazon and other websites. Here is what it will look like,

In it you have to play a role as an Elite Penguin Agent where you have to solve missions which the normal agents don’t know about. Also you can play mini games to earn coins and then connect to the internet with Wi-Fi connection to spend your coins. And (I think, according to the e-mail I got) you can get special items in the DS game and upload them to your penguin account on the computer.

I am definitely getting this CP game. I can’t wait till it comes out!

Club Penguin Elite Penguin Force

Club Penguin is coming to DS!  Thats right DS!  i know duckwit said it but here is the annocment.

Hello penguins!

I am very excited to be the first to let you know about a very special project we’ve been working on!

Ever since Club Penguin was launched, many of you have been asking and talking about a DS game and we’ve been listening. Here’s a bit of what you can look forward to:

I can’t get into too much detail but you might be wondering about the name ‘Elite Penguin Force’.  In the DS game you take on a special role as part of the Elite Penguin Force and solve mysteries that even Secret Agents don’t know about!

That’s just the start! You’ll also be able to play some of your favorite mini games and earn coins and other rewards that can be uploaded into your Penguin account!

I’ll have more info in the coming months. Were hoping to have the game done by this holiday season so you’ll only have to wait a few more months!

Super Hero Play is Back!

The super hero play was brought back today which means they brought back all the super hero clothes, sadly, the new features won’t be coming out until early next week.

Also in this play they brought back the popular camera in the stage catalog…

Well the play is all that came out today… But I’ll be sure to tell you when the new features come out.

YAY! The penguin band is coming to play again, there’s going to be a music party from the 25 to the 30.

Also CP are bringing back the super hero play! I’m glad about that…

PENGUIN MAIL UPDATE

Penguin Mail is ALMOST ready to launch, but before it does, we wanted to get your feedback on it. Below is a image of what it will look like. After our first post about Penguin Mail a few weeks ago we got a bunch of creative comments about designs and ways to make postcards even cooler than they are now. Many of you like the logo we posted on that blog, but asked to see more of the actual design.

You’ll definitely get the full picture when the feature launches this month–even as early as next week.This ‘mailbox’ will allow you to send mail to your buddies even when they’re not online, save postcards, ignore postcards and delete them too. The coolest part to me is that whenever I’m in Club Penguin and receive a postcard, Penguin Mail will let me know! That way I won’t miss any cool cards from other penguins!

No matter where you are in Club Penguin, you’ll always be able to check your mail by clicking on the grey envelope at the top left of your screen.

Clothing Catalog and New Pin!

The new clothing catalog came out today with some cool new music stuff.

There’s a new pin at the Cove which is a rocket,

Here are the other secrets and the Job of the Month. Also if you click the green rubber boots you get the Cheesy Necktie.

If you dance while wearing the new Job of the Month outfit, your penguin takes out a conducting stick thing and starts waving it.

There wasn’t any updates from CPIP today, but there will be some updates quite soon. (Pretty sure)

Update about playercard + Newspaper!

The CPIP blog released an update about the new player card, I made a post a while ago about what i t would look like, now its changed. Here’s a picture of what it will look like…

I looking forward to this new feature; by the way I became a member this morning (one month only) at about 6:00 a.m. my time.

Now for the newspaper!

There actually isn’t much in the newsapaper. The main article is about Rockhopper, also it says that Penguin mail will be ready in a few weeks. Here are the events,

YAY! The squidzoid play is coming back with the super heroes!

I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s catalog of clothes, it’s going to be musical stuff (I think mainly for rock bands)

I found Rockhopper!

Hi this is choclate1 here,

I just wanted to tell you that I found Rockhopper at 5:40 p.m. CP standard time on Monday.

I said this because I think I have a theory that Rockhopper might have a certain order of servers  that he goes  to,

so what I want you guys to do is whenever you find Rockhopper you send a comment saying what time you found him, where, in what server, and on what day of the week.

PS: Remember to use CP time and not your time.

One more thing if you see that lots of people are saying that RH is in a certain room and everyone is piling up their, then just wait until you see there is less people piled up , then start going around the other places RH goes and you might be able to get in the room be for it fills up.

Then if enough people find Rockhopper and send us comments, me and Duckwit are going to make a chart (If it works) Saying what time, what server, and when.

Fireworks in CP and new features!

There are fireworks at the Mountain and the Iceberg. It’s for the Fourth of July and Canada Day (which is today).

There’s going to be a new login feature so you can find your buddies easier and so you don’t have to look through a long list of servers, it just puts up the servers yours buddies are in and the servers you visit most.

Rockhopper, sports catalog, and new igloo update!

Hi this is Duckwit here,

Sorry I haven’t posted lately, I didn’t post Friday morning because I had a sleep over with my friend. Saturday morning I was busy and Saturday afternoon I had a headache.

I was a little disappointed with what Rockhopper brought us this time.

The flamingo, bottled ship, and parrot have been brought back. They were quite rare items, but the Grey Pirate coat is cool.

Here is Rockhopper’s notice board,

With his visit he brought back the popular multi player “Treasure Hunt” game which is found is his captains quarters.

Now for the sports catalog!

I was really excited when I saw they had brought out a soccer ball, and when I saw a penguin with soccer cleats bouncing a ball on his feet!

Unfortunately you can’t do anything with the basketball and I don’t know about the American Football yet.

That’s the sports catalog done with.

DISASTER STRIKES CLUB PENGUIN: EARTHQUAKE IN TOWN AREA!

I devastating earthquake took place in the town area,

Which also damaged the coffee shop,

The night club,

And the Gift Shop,

This a very unexpected event; I was ready for a normal posting day, but when I got to the town, things changed.

This earthquake has caused lots of damage in the town area, I wonder what will happen next? I’ll be posting more if I get any more information about this.

At the agent HQ on the message board,

It seems obvious that the earthquake has something to do with the upcoming mission.

Furniture and new Pin

Heres the new furniture,

click the surfer’s board on the towel to get an inflatable dragon,

If you click on the seaweed then you get a clam,

Heres some more furniture, (I have had the recycle bin since after two months of being a penguin, it was one of my oldest furniture items)

I like the curved Desk a lot

The new pin is a basketball and its located on the stove at the pizza parlor,

The also brought back a very RARE piece of furniture, the sunset painting, along with the lava lamp.

This has been quite an exiting day! Just to let you know the SNOW WARS story is going very well so far. Also I will hopefully be doing a VERY in depth review of this weeks newspaper.
